A single 4U chassis encrypts 6.4 Tbps. Two stacked chassis: 12.8 Tbps. Three: 19.2 Tbps. GARANCE orchestrates the entire fleet as a single encryption domain. There is no architectural ceiling.
Cryptographic keys never leave the FPGA. The host CPU cannot read, copy, or extract them — even with root access.
Every packet is encrypted inside the FPGA at wire speed. No software overhead, no CPU in the data path.
All key material is irreversibly erased in under one second — triggered by physical tamper detection or a remote GARANCE command.
GARANCE watches every encryptor and agent in real time. When a traffic pattern shifts unexpectedly or a firmware hash does not match, GARANCE flags it before an operator would notice. Anomaly detection, behavioral analysis, integrity checks — all running on sovereign French infrastructure.
